Avitech`s Presence at PDFA-First Dairy Show and Kisan Mela

More than 1500 farmers` from Punjab state participated in the First Dairy Show and Kisan Mela organised by Progressive Dairy Farmers` Association, Punjab on 7-9 March 2007 at GADVASU campus, Ludhiana, Punjab, India.

The Dairy show was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr. G.S. Kalkat, Chairman, Farmers` Commission, Punjab and was accompanied by Mr. A.S. Dhindsa, President, Chamber of Punjab Farmers, Dr. V.K. Taneja, Vice Chancellor, GADVASU, Dr. O.S. Parmar, Director (Extension) and Dr. Anil Kaura, Director, Punjab Dairy Development Board.

Cattle show, competitions and presentation were run concurrently during the three-day show. Various speakers during the show stressed on the importance of dairy sector and also the efforts required by the government, to bring the sector at par with the dairy sector of the developed countries.

Avitech participated at the First Dairy Show as an exhibitor represented by its dairy team. The dairy team interacted with dairy farmers and shared their views and information on Avitech`s dairy product profile.
