Avsorb Forte Launched by Avitech

Avitech has launched a new product Avsorb Forte, an unique toxin binder for adsorption of mycotoxins in feed. Avsorb Forte comprises a synergistic blend of organic acids, selected silicates and activated carbon.

Avsorb Forte has been tested against Aflatoxins at the Nutrisys Center for Animal Nutrition. Avsorb Forte is the result of research carried out on producing a broad-spectrum toxin binder. Avsorb Forte represents a solution to bind not only mycotoxins but also bacterial endotoxins and pesticides.

The silicates utilized in Avsorb Forte are highly efficacious. Various clay’s were analysed for different parameters like surface area adsorption capacity, CEC, aluminum silicate ratio etc. before selecting the specific clay for Avsorb Forte.

Activated carbon provides wider toxin adsorption capacity to Avsorb Forte. Activated carbon present in Avsorb Forte has a MB value of 250; which indicates its mesoporocity. Mesoporocity covers predominantly medium pore size, which is an important indicator of activated carbon`s ability to adsorb toxins of medium-large size. Aflatoxin adsorption % becomes constant at MB value higher than 250mg/g.

Avsorb Forte comprises organic acids, which possess inhibitory action against mold growth.
Avsorb Forte is recommended at a dose rate of 1Kg/MT of complete feed.
